Everything you can think of they provided. They will always exceeded your expectations. There’s a morning Buffet that changes every day and it has everything from Asian, North and South American dishes. There are four different restaurants on site. There’s a daycare that is included in the cost for your children. Every SINGLE day every 2hrs there’s something for them to do and it’s FREE . I’ve attended 4 throughout my 2week stay. We created a candle, bracelets for our children, tote bags, pom-poms and more, which provided several souvenirs for Family at no cost to me just time. There is a tennis court, gym, kids pool 3 adult pools, 2 infinity pools, 1 pool swim bar. There’s transport throughout the entire compound, to and from every event you can think of as well as to and from the airport and to your front door . When leaving out the compound, the sand 2 the beach is less than 600 feet away. The ocean is less than 2000 feet. There’s street food, cabanas and convenience stores. Everything you can ask for around the compound. The Slate offers, bikes and scooters. They will book events for you and a way to get there. There’s a store that sells everything you have in your bedroom from the actual bed, sheets, towels, soaps and fragrances, too the appliances holding up the sink. I am not exaggerating whatsoever. I’ve made a TikTok Instagram and Facebook post about how exceptional the slate hotel is. I will forever stay on this compound, regardless of where I am visiting throughout Thailand. I never travel with my children because they are young adults. However, this compound makes you want to bring all ages of children and family because there’s something for everyone to do in plenty of space to do it. They have currency exchanges on site as well as prayer sections for those who are religious. There an app to contact every aspect of the compound. You never have to speak to actual person.

My husband and i have been wanting to stay at 'The Slate' for a few years now but other plans kept getting in the way. In May this year the opportunity arose - unfortunately we could only enjoy 1 night but we are so glad we did. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and were shown straight to our room - wow! We were more than delighted and the 'first impression' factor blew us away. What a classy room - exceeding our expectations! The smell of our room had an instant effect on us - so much so we purchased the burning oil (Champaka) at the giftshop. Our home now smells like The Slate. We love it! Our room was close to the reception with a balcony, over-looking the inner sanctum garden areas of the Hotel and the breakfast restaurant, the perfect mix of modern elegance and nature (a wonderful lilypad covered pond running through the hotels inner garden area! We are not really arty people but the art displayed throughout the hotel even engaged our appreciation. Breakfast was more than satisfactory with multiple options of everything (this is important to my husband and he was impressed at the variety and quality). It was slightly too hot at breakfast for us to eat so much, but we loved the buffet spread and there was a lot of choice of all high-quality goods to choose from. A real nice surprise was how accessible the beach area and village/street was, straight outside the back gate from the hotel grounds. That was wonderful - making the location of this property even better if you're up to going out. Every single staff member that we engaged with was attentive and professional. It's great to see that all of the staff seemed happy! All in all a really amazing experience and we will definitely be returning for longer in the future.

The hotel is beautiful, with the theme carried through across all elements of design. The grounds are clean and well maintained and there is enough space that you don’t feel crowded at mealtimes or at the pools. Access to the restaurants along the beach is easy and convenient, and we really enjoyed our snorkeling trip organised by the dive centre. There are a number of food trucks and mini marts just outside the hotel on the beach side where you can buy snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. However there were some parts that we didn’t like. There were multiple private functions during our stay which meant that various hotel facilities were not available to guests. The doors on the family suites are tin and do not block out any sound from the passage - would expect more soundproofing from a hotel at this price point. The mattresses seem to be quite old and are well worn - need to be replaced. Meals and drinks are much more expensive than at other restaurants and hotels in Phuket/Phang Na.

Most relaxing hotel was above expectation. Super friendly staff. Was very comfortable 1 night stay before travel. Hotel themed in a very mechanical design, which is very eye catching and interesting. Will visit again definitely. Thank you all staff for making it a pleasant stay for us. 1) Hotel has great awareness about celiac disease offers selection of gluten free foods. 2) hotel prepared mini gifts for our kids was so nice. 3) we were giving free drinks token at check in that we used in the restaurant. 4)hotel allowed us to check out at 5:00 pm with no extra charge, As our flight was late. Restaurant food is soo yummy. Hotel has beach access and many other activities that we missed due to tight timing.

Our stay at The Slate was amazing. Great location close to both the beach and airport, we thought being this close to the airport would be noisy but we barely noticed the planes going over. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The restaurants have good food at very reasonable prices, it was a shame a couple of them were closed for improvements but this didn’t impact our stay at all. The spa was also brilliant, offering a large variety of treatments, and the staff were again lovely. Plenty of activities to choose from too! Would definitely visit again and highly recommend!
